early morning surfing Bowls again.  waves were a little bumpy but there were some nice ones if you knew which one to choose.

Troy chose this nice one.  

in-between the passing showers, the ocean calmed and there were some nice barrels.  i got barreled on one left and 2 rights.  that’s a pretty good day for me.  i was smiling all day today!

this beginner surfer came from far away and almost ran me over.  i knew it because i saw her looking straight at me.  luckily i paddled away before she hit me.  i tell my students “never look at anyone because you will hit them!!!”

it wasn’t too long ago when the average hotel daily rate was $150.  now it is $351/night.  you can thank the pandemic, and you can also thank inflation.  that’s so crazy!
