Bringing Japan to Hawaii

take a good look at this rubbish island because you will probably never see it again in your lifetime.  thankfully it’s gone so we can surf without dinging our surfboards.

the mountains to the oceans are sparkling clean now.  it’s so cool how nature works…

take a look around and you will see all the mango trees fully bloomed with flowers.  if the winds don’t blow hard or the birds don’t eat all the flowers, we will have a wonderful mango season.

as you can see, only the strong survive…

omg, did you see the new South African Zigzag magazine cover?  that is Benji Brand!  omg, that’s one of the coolest Pipeline barrel photos i’ve ever seen.  can somebody please sponsor Benji already.  i can’t believe a kid with that much talent isn’t sponsored!

it’s dinner time for me and this is my dinner.  thank you to my Yamari Family for bringing Japan to me!  i miss you guys!!!

12 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible

i just watched this documentary called 14 Peaks:  Nothing is Impossible.  it’s about this Nepali guy named Nimsdai Purja that hiked 14 mountains in such a short time.  i was really impressed with this guys motivation, loyalty, dedication, and respect for nature.  he has such a positive attitude and positive energy.  i’m truly inspired by his bravery and fearless lifestyle.  my homework for all my students is to watch this documentary and learn that “Nothing is Impossible.”

his words that are embedded in my brain is, “I am not going to die today, Maybe tomorrow but not today.”  that’s how i want to live my life…
