did you see the news? this 10 year old surfer kid tried out this electric foil in Hawaii. this was his very first wave. so far, so good.
then he pressed the remote control and the foil took off like it’s expected to. 
like everybody else including myself, you’re going to fall on your first wave. it’s part of learning. BUT, this kids thumb happened to get cut off by the propeller. it’s a freak accident.
there is a protector around the propeller but he probably grabbed it causing it to cut off his thumb. so just because you see Mark Zuckerberg riding one of these, that doesn’t mean you can… 
since this is America, the first thing people do when you want to put the blame on others is to hire a lawyer and sue. so instead of taking responsibly of letting your little kid ride a super dangerous electric foil, you sue the company for millions. welcome to America…
and since this is probably the first foiling lawsuit, expect more to follow. if you’re going to sue, don’t foil. the reason is you’re guaranteed going to get hurt at some point…
