Ocean Hitchiker

the other day i was coming back to Waikiki, this paddle boarder hitched a ride back with us.  he just rode behind and went with the flow.

then he came on the side and rode the wake.

he was riding it for a long time.  then he said “thank you” and went along his route.  then i got an idea.  next time i see a big boat in the ocean, i’m going to ride the wake with my foil.  can’t wait!!!

the next generation sailors.  these kids are learning things you won’t learn in a classroom.  i would recommend the sailing club for any future waterman.  i wish i could have done that as a kid…

it’s Summer so the paddling clubs are in full swing.  so many kids playing in the harbor.  i should show them the photo of the shark i took?  haha…

making lifetime friends and lifetime memories…

the waves were flat today so i just practiced pumping around Mayuki.  i think i can make 10 circles around before my legs can’t pump anymore.  it’s an amazing workout…
