i never took a Covid test before because i never had to.  but one guy i bumped into yesterday said he was sick.  not sure if it was Covid but i don’t want to take any chances of spreading this invisible disease so i went to Longs to buy a test kit.

these tests are pretty self explanatory and pretty simple.  it only cost $23 for 2 tests and is very accurate.  it took about 3 minutes to set up the test, and 1 minute for the nose swab.  for this one, you don’t have to stick the swab deep up the nose.  just 1/2″ is fine so it’s painless.  

as i was waiting the 15 minutes for the results, i started to think “omg, if i test positive, then i can’t leave my house for 14 days!  what am i going to do???”  

thankfully i tested negative.  omg, that was a scary thought to be self quarantined for 2 weeks.  i would go crazy and probably climb up my walls!!!

if you’re sick, please stay home and away from people.  it’s just common courtesy…

Diamond Head looked super fun this evening.  the wind is getting really strong and this weekend is supposed to get even windier.  South swell coming too so hope you find the right spot…

just by the way a surfers paddles, i can tell you what level he is.  this guy is a beginner riding a surfboard that is way too small for him.  of the 2 hours he was out, i didn’t see him catch a single wave.  no wonder some surfers quit surfing.  i would too.  somebody give this guy a surf lesson…

want to thank Donald for giving me some fresh deer meat from Molokai.  he went hunting and he gave me pieces that were still on the ice.  one i pan fried, and one i ate raw sashimi style.  it was the best dinner i had in a very long time!

absolutely no fat on this is very healthy meat.  100% grass fed and 100% organic.  you won’t find a healthier piece of meat in any supermarket around…
