i have no idea who votes for the best beaches in America, but if it were me, this list would be much different. Duke Kahanamoku Beach #6? really? that’s the beach right next to the Ala Moana Bowls parking lot. lots of rocks in the water, dirty water due to the jetty in front, and tons of tourists umbrellas on the beach. i’m not sure how Dr. Beach made his list? maybe the fronting Hilton Hawaiian Hotel gave him a penthouse suite and free meals when he wrote his list. something’s fishy…

Mokulele is happy because it’s only airlines servicing Molokai so expect prices skyrocketing. i use to pay $50 for one way but now it’s double. triple coming up for sure. bummer. but the good thing is Mayuki still can take us there…
