i went to the hardware store and bought new fire extinguishers for our houses.

i’m not taking any chances with one of these not working.  the fireman told us that you have to shake your fire extinguisher once a year.  so i’m shaking it once a year.   and you should shake yours too.

Tony was an invitee for the prestigious Eddie Aikau contest since the 1980’s.  and only surfers that get invited receive these.  for some people, this isn’t worth anything, for some people, it’s worth thousands, and for some people, it’s priceless.  thank goodness these survived the fire.  if there is anyone out there that knows how to restore these priceless gems, please let me know.  Kelia’s crown for the contest she won is in there too.  these need to get cleaned and remounted so please let me know.  thank you!

by the way, Eddie’s brother Clyde Aikau showed up the next morning after the fire to help clean up.  that’s a lot of Aloha and i was super stoked to see the Hawaiians helping Hawaiians.  that’s the Hawaii we live in…

Mateus loves his cousin Seth’s house because his yard is huge! so we went there today to practice in the back yard.
