First Light of 2021

like normal, i went to sleep last night before 8pm.  at midnight, i was hearing people screaming, loud fireworks, and even loud bomb explosions.  i got up and went to look out my window and everybody was celebrating the new year.

i live in a valley so you could hear and see everything!  it was pretty cool.  then i went back to sleep, woke up at 3am, exercised, did yoga, ate breakfast, and left home in the dark.

i was the first one to arrive to Jurassic Park.  and also the first one to paddle out and be in the beautiful ocean.  this is how i wanted to start the new year, which is pretty much the same as last year.  so nothing new so far…

i foiled some waves, watched the sunrise, and had a wonderful first morning of the year.  i got a really good feeling that 2021 is going to be better than ever.  tomorrow same thing as today.  goodnight…

2020 Looking Back Part 1

looking back at 2020 Part 1:

my last trip was to South Korea in January.

i bought myself a new present.

sunset biking with the boys.

lots of renovations.

teaching kids how to buy a new car.

babysitting the future generation.

connecting people together.

Hawaii might be closed, but i feel more love than ever.

Kelia Moniz building her new dream house.

sweet Mateus.

my first ounce of gold.

family vacation time.

i’m back to surfing.

this is the best quote of 2020:  “When the intention is pure, destiny cooperates.”
