A Year to Remember!

like every year, i spend the last day of the year in the ocean.  and now that this new years eve has a full moon, i can go earlier than normal!

so nice to paddle out and see the lights reflection on the oceans surface.  in this photo it looks like you can see good, but it’s actually pretty dark…

i caught my first wave in the moonlight and as i was turning left to right, i could see the full moon reflection.  it was so beautiful!

today’s headlines read “A Year to Forget.”  i don’t know why the media has to be so negative???  you should never forget any year you live.  you should appreciate every single day whether it’s good or bad.  yes there were bad things that happened this year, but we all can grow and get stronger from it.  so if i was the editor for the Star Advertiser, my headline would read “A Year to Remember!”  yes, we will all remember 2020!

you should never let negative events affect your positive life.  plain and simple.  2020 was amazing!

anyway, want to say goodbye 2020 and hello to 2021 tomorrow morning.  guess where i’ll be at sunrise?  yes, i’ll be flying!

Sweets Cafe…

gosh, the weather and waves have been pretty perfect recently.  this is how us surfers like it…

and the rainbows have been out every day.  some days all day long…

i use to buy these febreze air fresheners but they would cost money and only last a few days….

now put fresh free gardenias from my yard and now my car smells naturally sweet…

been getting some nice sweet presents from the oven.  rocky road chocolate and peanut butter cups…

tomorrow is the last day of the year for us in Hawaii so i’m thinking about my plans for 2022.  can’t wait!
