my Grandpa built my house over 70 years ago.  over the past 7 years, i remodeled everything except for my bathroom.  so now that i have time, it’s time!  give me the saw and i’ll cut everything out.  this is called demolition!    i started off with the sink and now stripped out the bathtub walls.  i didn’t do good too good at math in high school.  but ever since then, numbers has been my specialty.  oh, and i also didn’t do good in art as you can see.  haha.   now i’m researching things i’ve never done before.  by the end of the month, i’m going to be a professional tile man.   went to the stores to search for my bathtub and sink.  it better fit!oh, guess where i surfed this morning?  yup, Diamond Head!!!  and it was so perfect!!!

before i went to sleep last night, i already knew were i’d be surfing this morning.  so when i pulled up to Diamond Head and seen this, i wasn’t surprised at all.  but i still grabbed my foil and ran down the cliff.  haha.

when the conditions are right, Diamond Head has to be the most beautiful place to surf on the South Shore.  and today was as perfect as it gets…

 i was watering my rosemary plant and it’s looking so healthy.  then noticed some mushrooms growing.  wow!  i’m going to put that in my omelet for breakfast tomorrow.  i hope it’s not poison.this Honolulu policeman pulled over a 17 year old girl for speeding.  she asked him not to give her a ticket.  then he thought it was ok to grope the girl so he did.  unbelievable.  anyway, he went to court and the judge sentenced him to 14 days in prison.  are you serious?  14 days in prison for something that will affect that poor 17 year old girl for the rest of her life.  i don’t understand the justice system…speaking about justice.  Judge Barrett is being confirmed to the supreme court.  along the way, some politicians are opposed so there are senators trying to break her down.  i’ve been watching a little of this and i’m so impressed on how confident Judge Barrett is.  she answers the questions very clear and firm.  i haven’t seen this kind of confidence in a long time.  she looks unbreakable!  and in my lifetime, i didn’t see Christmas trees for sale this early in the year. usually they go on sale after Thanksgiving, but some places are starting really early.  i love it because Christmas makes people happy.  and happiness is what a lot of people need during this pandemic…
