Everyday Surf Check…

Good morning 3:50am.

Ala Moana shoulder high and perfect.

Diamond Head overhead and good.

Light trade winds at 10mph.

Sunny and warm.

this was yesterday at Three’s.  i was riding my foil like i ride my shortboard.  only 4 guys out and i could catch any set i wanted with my foil.  nobody was hassling and nobody was in my way.   lucky me!after yesterdays dream session, i wanted more.  so jumped on Mayuki this morning at 5am and went searching for the perfect wave.surfed and watched the amazing sunrise.since nobody was out at my secret spot, i decided to shortboard.  good waves and good choice…on the way back in, i wanted to check out Three’s and show my friends how lucky we were yesterday.  yesterday had 4 guys out, today i counted 51 guys out!!!  51 hungry surfers out and when a wave came, there were 5 guys on it.  crazy!then passed by Bowls and lost count after 80.  i’m guessing there were at least 120 surfers out from Bowls to Rockpiles.  maybe surfing in the best way to beat the coronavirus…
