Another Endless Summer…

Good morning 4am.

Ala Moana knee to waist high and clean.

Diamond Head chest high and fun.

Trade winds at 15mph.

Sunny and warm.

Going moonlight surfing.

today was a day to “kill 2 birds with one stone.”  i had to take care of Mayuki, and i had to practice foiling.  so i loaded up and headed out.  did both in 3 hours…

today was another beautiful day.  calm seas, nice waves, blue sky, and clean water.  i can look at this view everyday and still think i’m dreaming…

i foiled for an hour and a half so worked on my legs and cardio.  then it was time to really work.  it took me 50 minutes to scrub the bottom of Mayuki.  there is no better exercise than holding your breath and scrubbing upside down.  great for the cardio!  i love it!

and of course i see 2 nice big Omilu’s swim right pass me.  i see these guys every time i don’t have my spear…

and to end off catching a few waves right before dark at Diamond Head is the best way to top off a wonderful day!  i still can’t believe we’re in the middle of a pandemic.  thank goodness for the ocean…

remember that stick i found in my yard?  well, i planted it, watered it everyday, and these are the first flowers!   i’m so happy a stick back to life!i took this photo before the coronavirus.  i’m going back up there to take another one now.  i bet you it will look totally different.  stay tuned…if you’re a kid in Hawaii, you have to find your own way to have fun this summer.  so get off your iPhones and enjoy your summer like this!
