Super Surf Saturday

started off this morning in the dark.  Aihara-san requested a sunrise session so i was so happy to make that happen!  we were surfing in the dark!the speed, the flow, and the moment.  so cool…Aihara-san hiked Diamond Head for the sunrise yesterday, and today he got to see the most amazing sunrise over Diamond Head.  and while riding waves!a super happy man riding super nice waves…it’s moments like this that will make your surf trip to Hawaii even more golden…then took the 2 kids tandem surfing.  omg, the cutest kids ever…then Oshima-san in the afternoon.  orange is cool…Renta-kun tried short boarding for the very first time.  we had a blast…and Seira-chan catching a very nice wave to end the day.

i paddled out and back in 7 times today.  surfed for 6 hours, took a hundred photos, and looking back, it was a super surf saturday!

Road to Success…

Seira-chan’s biggest dream is to meet and surf like Kelia Moniz.  i really think that her positive feelings are making it come true.  i really believe it because i can’t believe how many times they actually met!

when i say go, these girls GO!  i trained Kelia like that since she was a kid, and i trained Seira-chan like that for the past 2 years.  so when i yelled “GO,”  they both went!  haha…Mia is Kelia’s first cousin.  ever since Mia was a kid, i taught her how to work hard, study hard, and dream big.  so when she was 15 years old, she got a job, studied hard, and saved her own money.   even till today, she’s still working hard and studying hard in college.  yesterday, her dream of buying a new car came true!   so i took her down, explained to her the process, she signed the papers, and she freaking bought a car!  even the manager at the dealership couldn’t believe this 18 year old girl pulled it off.  so stoked!  congratulations Mia!  i’m super proud of you accomplishing something so big at your young age.  you’re on the right road to success…
