Happy 1:  Namba-san must have caught a total of 40 waves and 20 of them one minute rides.  so much energy!   40 waves and 40 smiles… Happy 2:  Romi-san hasn’t surfed in 2 years so it was nice to see her remembering everything perfectly.   happy rides equal happy smiles… Happy 3:  Miwa-san loving the longboard life.  smooth, graceful, and confident… Happy 4:  Mai-chan traveling around the world but Hawaii is her favorite.  welcome back! Happy 5:  Nao-san with her iPhone 11 showing us the real New York.  looks so chilly… Happy 6:  Yoshiko-san making me jealous with some sukiyaki in Hokkaido.  omg, i’m actually mad at her now!  haha…

 packed some beers in the cooler for a wonderful end to a wonderful day.   but first paddled out to Bowls in the evening to watch the sunset and huge rainbow.  it was amazing!  all 45 surfers at Bowls saw it!  yes, there were really 45 surfers out and i couldn’t believe it… put some ice on the beers and it was fully chilled… then threw some meat on the grill and had a wonderful time!  surf, beer, and dinner.  i got inspired after Asayama-san sent me his photos from Ibaraki.  i thought i’d copy him and make Japanese surf style in Hawaii.  and it was freaking amazing!
