Ala Moana head high and perfect.

Diamond Head overhead sets and super good.

Light winds so perfect morning conditions.

 had some amazing oyster shooters last night.  so good!  and also raw oysters.  so good! and some sashimi too.  so good!  everything so good! woke up this morning and headed out to find a surf spot with nobody around.  didn’t feel like surfing with a hundred hungry surfers on this new South swell.   passed by Bowls and couldn’t believe how many people where out!  this is crazy! no thank you!  so i ended up surfing very far away with not a single surfer around.  a wonderful stress free surf session on this beautiful Saturday… want to thank Takahashi-san for spearing this delicious fish that we ate.  steamed with ginger and onion.  so good!   and a few cold Asahi’s.  so good!

 Uncle Kyle is a very nice guy.  Seth didn’t make it to the boat ramp on time so Uncle Kyle came back in to pick him up.  if it was me, no way i’m going back in to pick up someone who overslept.  not even my family.  haha… being in the ocean with Takahashi-san is cool.  he’s a fisherman and knows how to do everything.  here he is helping Joshua take the fish off his line. when you’re in a boat with 5 guys and a hundred of fishing hooks, you’re bound to get hooked someday.  this hook got caught in Takahashi-san’s pants.  just missed his balls by centimeters.  haha… this is called a nabeta and is one of the best eating fish in Hawaii.  lucky man! this is called an ishidai and is very hard to find here in Hawaii.  so i guess you can say i’m lucky too… thank you Takahashi-san for cleaning my fish! the deep blue water diving wasn’t happening so we came into the shallow reef to get some Kole.   good job boys! this is the best fish to fry in the frying pan.  i can’t wait to eat it!   it was a pleasure going on Kyle’s boat yesterday.  a very clean and a very cool boat that is set up for diving and fishing.  i could finally relax… i have 2 coolers of fish and deer sitting outside my house.  i can’t wait to eat it all!
