Happy Honeymoon Surf Couple

i was so happy to meet another Iwata-san family member!  Mama and Papa Iwata-san are the coolest parents in the world, and now i get to surf with Daughter Mariko-san and her new husband Takagi-san!

OMG!  Mariko-san is exactly like Mama!  same energy, same personality, and same surfing style.  it felt like i was surfing with Mama again!

bright morning, and brighter smile…

Takagi-san came to Hawaii for his first time, and it’s also his first time surfing.  so yeah, double the pleasure!

and double the happiness…

Mariko-san surfed so perfectly today.  i was cool to ride along on this beautiful morning.

Takagi-san feeling how it is to be a surfer.  this is some cool style!

we surfed for a pretty long time.  lots of rides and lots of laughs…

they wanted to eat Chinatown so i didn’t mind going there 2 days in a row.  the food is just so amazing.

biting into one of these and feeling the warm juice squirting in your mouth is amazing.

and my favorite dish of the town, chicken on rice…

thank you guys for the amazing day.  the other half day of photos coming tomorrow.  please tell Mama and Papa i said hello and i miss them very much.  but then again, i felt like Mama was with us today so that was so cool!

No H20 and Ebay Dings…

i woke up yesterday at 2:30am because i could hear a river flowing outside my house.  come to find out, the water main broke!  so no water all day!  used bottled water to brush my teeth, and don’t ask how i flushed the toilet.  haha.  not having water all day made me realize the power of H2O!  we’ll all die with out… but i won’t die without boba tea.  i went to try a new place yesterday and everything was looking good.  looks tasty, nice container, and very unique.  then i tasted it and it was terrible.  too bland and very watered down.  no more Honeyboba shop for me… Saori-san turned out to be a very adventurous girl.  and i totally respect her for going to new places and trying different things.  and when i see the photos, it makes want to go there too! this is in Arizona.  she asked my why i don’t like to go to Mainland America.  maybe someday when i finish exploring this whole wide world, i’ll explore America.  but for now, there are just too many places on my bucket list…  anyway, keep the energy and keep on traveling Saori-san!  i brought back 6 boards from Bali.  one of them i took out of my bag in Japan and sent to Matsu.  it was the only one that was packed good, and it was the only one that got off in Japan.  the other 5 of them made it safely and ding free back to Hawaii so i’m wondering where this happened?   i’m so sorry this happened to you Matsu!  i would be crying….i was really feeling sorry for you until you sent me this next photo of you getting barreled at E-Bay in the Mentawai.   now i don’t feel sorry for you anymore because when you were getting barreled in the Mentawai’s, i was carrying and sweating with all those boards with me.  took 4 airplanes and 36 hours to get home with it so if you want to trade all the suffering i did for this amazing barrel, i’d be more than glad to.  haha…
