i really respect locals that come out everyday no matter what. when it rains, when it’s small, and when it’s big. Bruce is one of those guys that enjoys Bowls on any given day. and today was a good one!

the Moniz family is up on Molokai and i’m not sure if they will ever come back. haha. i know they extended their stay and i can understand why. when you’re up there, you never want to come home. want to thank Cousin Dino for giving Tony these gifts for me. i’m looking forward for the next Awa party!
the last time i was on Molokai, i didn’t want to come home either. it’s a very magical place that makes me calm, relaxed, and very happy. it’s probably the only place in the world where i’m at 100% peace…

Sunday brunch is a favorite of mine. i went to eat the famous eggs benedict at my favorite place. after half way through my meal, i saw something strange when i cut into my benedict…
i poked it out and took a better look at it. 
omg! shit! it was a cockroach!!!! disgusting!!! the waitress said sorry and asked me if i wanted to order something else. really???? i said no way and left. and i’ll have a discussion with the manager tomorrow about this because this is unacceptable! i seriously felt like throwing up. if this was in Bali, i would understand, but at a high class restaurant in Hawaii? no way! 
i felt like i had the cockroach taste in my mouth so i wanted to get rid of it. so went to a much cleaner restaurant and ordered this spicy seafood soup. much better…
then went for a surf at Bowls. my friends daughter said “hey Uncle, look what i found!” omg, it was a live seahorse!!! so cute!!!
went to Bali and brought back a WOO foil board for Carter. glad he loves it! 
it’s crazy how a magic board will change your life… i haven’t seen Carter foil this good ever. and it will only get better! now there are only 3 guys in this world that have this foil board. Carter, Matsu, and I. i kind of like it that way…
