it was Makan time in Sanur.  i love eating at these Panang restaurants.  just pull up with a plate, put some rice on it, and choose everything else you want.   mine looked something like this.  it only cost $8 for 3 people!!!  healthy and inexpensive… Tony and my foil boards came today.  i didn’t realize that both of our boards are red!!!   haha… there is a total of 7 surfboards in this case.  and this is only one of two for Seth Moniz.  he’s got 15 boards here in Bali!i was amazed on how strict the security is here at the contest.  there are security guards and cars everywhere you look.  their checking for bombs and terrorists.  feeling kind of safe considering Bali is famous for bombings.  Seth is living his life up, and also living in a really good comfort zone.  how could you not be relaxed in this? and how could you not like Indonesia when you’re staying in places like this???so happy to see Seth, Kelia, and Tony today.  lot’s has happened today but i’m too tired to type anymore.   see you guys tomorrow morning.  good night from Sanur!

 so happy to see Toda-san’s now toy!   this is a dream car for me too! surf trip this year?  please Toda-san!!! this is so cool!  can’t wait to see it, feel it, and ride it!   look at my beautiful Yamari breakfast prepared by Atsuko-san.  itadakimasu!   the best quality shirasu you will find in the world.  made with love and prepared with love.  and eaten with love… thank you guys for the wonderful years of supporting my surfing, my travel, my family, my friends, and my selfishness.  haha.  sat in my hotel room and couldn’t resist opening up this wonderful bottle of Jack Daniels… if you’re ever at Kansai Airport, go the the 3rd floor and eat at Kamakura Ramen.  it’s super good and i must for me… good to see Shunsuke-kun surfing so good in Japan.  nice style and nice cutback.   and good to see Shunsuke-kun meeting his hero surfer Joshua Moniz in Chiba.  that’s awesome!and good to see my new foil board almost done in Bali.  i just got here last night, had a good dinner with Tony and Yasin.  slept good and today is contest Day 1.  going to see my little nephew this morning and cheer the boy on!
