want to thank Tomoko-San for the smooth check in at Kansai Airport. you are so kind!!!
bumped into Yuuko-san at the airport. same flight going to the same place. Bali Bagus!
Tony has been supporting all his 5 kids for what ever they did in life. now it’s surfing and now it’s freaking super cool to see this…
i’m still amazed by Seth’s composure. he knows what his job is and why he’s here. his job is to win, and he’s here to make Hawaii proud!
my brother jumped on this trip last minute. one of the best last minute decisions i’ve seen him make in his whole life. spending time with the family and enjoying paradise with Kelia Moniz right here. the best place in the world right now.
omg, we went to get the best shiatsu massage ever. 1.5 hour massage for $7. massages are an everyday thing for our group…
and drinking fresh coconut water everyday is a must. with all this heat, we have to rehydrate.
an amazing Kuta Beach sunset. one of the most golden places in the world.
i like to see people enjoying themselves while enjoying nature. precious moments like makes me happy.
i see some cool cars when i travel. check out this Toyota Land Cruiser. so cool!
i’m looking forward to feeling, touching, smelling, and riding my new foil board. just a couple more days till it’s done!
**quick recap for today. Seth advanced out of his round 2 heat. we went foiling at a super secret spot. massage and dinner now. see you!

some of the landscaping here is breathtaking!
my brother Mason, Seth, and Kelia. just hanging out with the family…
this is the hotel were Seth and Kelia were staying at. one of the nicest villas around…
the bellman having a hard time with all the boards and bags. i’m glad i don’t have to do that anymore…
i saw Rio Waida waxing up his board and getting ready for his heat in his WCT debut. it’s the first time an Indonesian got into a WCT so all eyes were on this young kid. half Japanese and half Balinese. i gave him a hug and say “good luck boy!” we Japanese have to support one other and being that Seth is half Japanese too, we’re all the same blood. Rio won his heat beating World Champion Gabriel Medina. great job kid!
Wayan Picha. i will never forget this mans kindness to me the first time i went to Bali back in 1993. if it wasn’t for him, i wouldn’t have been able to go back to Bali ever again after that. so each time i go back, in my mind, i always thank Picha for backing me up like a brother…
we took a stroll down to Kuta beach, had fresh coconuts, fresh corn, a cold beer, a happy talk, and watched the golden sunset. it was the most romantic time in my life i spent with these boys. haha…
most places in Indonesia, you’re not supposed to flush down toilet paper in the toilet. so wipe your ass and put the tissue in the rubbish can. Please don’t spoil our day…
Another day in Bali…
