Precious Bali Memories…
i planted a gardenia plant for Mateus when he was 1 year old. ever since, it’s given us hundreds of sweet flowers all year round. the sweetest smell ever…
our toy is running super smooth. too bad i don’t have time to drive it! ahh….
it’s so funny because since we started foiling, i see these guys every single day. i’m not the only one addicted. haha.
i just love my foil. i can fly, i can surf, and i can have fun all at the same time. there is no other board like it.
my next goal is to foil into a huge wave. it’s scary even to think about, but i think scary things make me happy. here i come Bali!
if you ever see a monk seal on the beach, please don’t go close to it because it’s illegal. it’s illegal for a reason. there’s been a big problem of tourists going too close. thank you.
i look back to this video Tony took in Bali when Seth was only 12 years old. Tony and i use to talk back then about the natural talent this kid had. both of us knew he was going to the top. we were prepping him to surf good, but to also be calm, cool, and humble. and to think back, Seth has never been a cocky or arrogant kid. he’s always been the most lovable kid ever. i think that’s what got him to where he is today. it’s not just surfing, it’s the whole package. and Seth has the whole package. i’m jumping on a flight and i can’t wait to give him a big hug! it’s like our Bali Reunion! haha…
Life is Short, Go Shell Hunting…
went to my sisters house to celebrate my Mom’s 77th birthday! ever since we were kids, my Mom use to make us artichokes so that was on the menu. our whole family grew up loving this!
then Tony and i went outside to pack out precious cargo. in this box is our foils.
and in this bag is our foil boards.
this will be boarding an airplane very soon and by this weekend, we will be foiling in Bali! yeah!!!
then went back in the house for more delicious food. crab legs was another family favorite. Happy Birthday Mom!
then came home and was still hungry so ate some colorful somen! thank you Ozaki-san and Ai-san!
i’m getting an eye surgery soon. so the first step was to go see my doctor and get a note saying that i’m in good physical condition. when i went to my doctors office, i found out he just got a stroke and will never be coming back. omg, i was so shocked to hear that bad news. my doctor was young and so healthy. i still can’t believe what happened…
i was so happy to hear that Yoshiko-san went treasure hunting in Indonesia this past Golden Week. and she found some super nice treasure! good job girl. please keep that beach a secret…
