back again are this couple that loves to surf.  loves it so much that they drive 6 hours every weekend to go surfing in Japan.  but here in Hawaii, Bowls is 2 minutes away from their hotel.  might be too close for them?  haha.  welcome to Hawaii the Ozaki-san’s!   Ozaki-san is surfing better than ever.  he’s surfing way better than last year and the reason for that is because he’s super calm!  i was so amazed!  Ai-san with lots and lots of energy.  riding wave after wave all the way till the end.  this his how you enjoy your once a year Golden Week!   Ozaki-san rode some big ones this morning.  look how smooth and perfect the waves were!   i just love to ride along and watch people gliding over the ocean.  it’s an amazing sight.   today, we practiced going left.  and Ai-san is showing us how it’s done.  i didn’t have my foil drone today, but i stuck my hand up high and jumped up 3′ on my board to get this shot.  cool yeah?  Go-Ozaki-san!   a lovely day with a lovely couple… then went to fuel up on the best avocado sandwiches on the island.  you won’t ever find this secret place in a guidebook.  thank you guys for the wonderful time.  see you tomorrow for a full day in the sun!   want to thank my foil friend Dave for this t-shirt.  the foiling community is getting big here in Hawaii and everybody is super cool.  even though surfing created some attitudes and assholes, foiling has humbled every single person so now we are all on the same level.  and same high too.  it’s all about peace in our club!  HI Foils, Hawaii!  see you birds in the water!

i want to take this time to wish and pray for my good friend Sunny Garcia.  he’s fighting for his life in the hospital right now.  Sunny and i go back 30 years and had the most amazing times together.   and i’m looking forward to many more amazing memories in the future with him.  fight it out buddy, i know you can get through this.   i love you brother and will see you soon.
