Ramen to Sunset

when Nao-san sent me these photos the other day, i have to admit i was a bit jealous. Seigo-san in Tokyo? really?

omg, my mouth is watering now! i miss Marutaya Ramen!

and i miss Seigo-san too! thanks Nao-san for sending me your Wakayama in Tokyo experience. wish i was there…

so happy to see Kaneko-san and Ray-kun at the NSSA championships! awesome Father and Son surfing combination.

omg, waves good, off the lip good, surfer good, and everything good. see you boys in Hawaii soon!

look at my 2 boys. Mateus and Noah came to my house with their home made Power Ranger costumes. haha!

foiled Bowls this morning and the waves were so perfect. then surfed Bowls this evening and the waves were so perfect too! had a great time with the boys Inomata-san and Saito-san!

life is good… but life is short too so enjoy each and every moment while you can…

Frog Watch

this is how you look for opihi. they like to be in rough waters so be very careful as picking opihi in Hawaii turns out to be the deadliest for fishermen. in fact, the most deaths per year come from opihi pickers.

but if you can find some, you will enjoy the finest and tastiest thing you will ever try. better than abalone…

seen this nice size papio swimming right under me. i swear these fish come so close to me when i don’t have my speargun. very smart…

want to thank Masae-san for the seaweed from Tohoku! good for my miso soup!

Mateus came over to show me his new watch.

he said “unko, look at my froggy watch.” he loves it so much…
