as i sit here watching the sun set into the horizon on this pristine white sandy beach where nobody comes, i can’t stop thinking about another wonderful day has passed. so many things happening, so many experiences, and still learning so much. just in this day, i learned so much about my life and how i want to live it. more simply, more happily, and more excitingly. it’s days like this that make me realize how precious a single breath of air is. so for now, i’ll take a deep breath of fresh air, take a sip of my ice cold beer, and cheers to the heavens where so many of my friends are looking down and saying “enjoy your life.” and that’s exactly what i’m doing for them…

gosh, the waves have been totally amazing these past few days. if you have a shortboard, forget it. but if you have a long board or foil, you’re in heaven…

once again, my little fishy friend came to say hello again. the 5th day in a row!

i would be sitting on my board and feel something nibbling on my feet.

why does this fishy always come to me and make trouble!!! i try to scare him away but he would swim right back. and even after i caught a wave, he would come back and nibble my feet. crazy!

while the fish was nibbling my feet, Nanami-san was ripping!

all those days of Boot Camp paying off as this girl is surfing on her own and loving life.
