thank you Ami-chan for the cheesecake! that was my breakfast this morning!

today was raining so hard all day long. so it was a good day to do yard work. soaking wet but enjoying talking to my plants.

and my gardenia is getting greener and stronger.

i ended up pulling out a lot of weeds, trimming the trees, and got all muddy. some people don’t like to work in the rain, but i do.

then went for a drive around Ala Moana in the evening. amazing double rainbow! i was teaching this 16 year old kid how to drive a car. we had a great time.

then right before it got dark, the sun popped out for 10 minutes. 10 minutes of golden time!

then went to eat at Panda. my fortune cookie read “YOU ARE A BUNDLE OF BUZZING ENERGY, ALWAYS ON THE GO.” really??? haha…

ok, hope you enjoyed the past summer because it’s pretty much gone. beautiful days like this will be fewer and fewer.

check out this cool photo i took in the late evening. the sun was going down and shining on the Prince Hotel. then the pink reflection shined like a spotlight on this wave. it was unnatural light, but it looked pretty amazing.

and my purple foil board looks pretty amazing too. it’s a 5’3 and i was pretty excited to try it out.

this was my first session on it. i could actually surf the wave like i’m surfing my shortboard. the only difference is i’m going 10x faster! so that equals 10x more stoke!

i have good short boards. i have good foil boards. i have good friends. and i have a good life. there is noting else i need…

Carter got his new foil board too and is ripping 10x more! so stoked to see my friends enjoying life more and more.

sometimes i’m going so fast that i feel like jumping off my board because the speed is actually scary. but if you hang on, you will have the ride of your life.

and when you have the ride of your life, you will have the time of your life. it’s incredible how foiling changed our lives for the better. i’d never thought i’d be this excited to jump into the ocean with my friends. it’s like rewinding back to middle school…
