Molokai Mo Bettah!

Good morning 5:45am.
Ala Moana waist to chest high and clean.
Diamond Head chest high and clean.
Light winds in the morning with trade winds coming back.
Sunny, clouds, and very warm.
Going surfing and surfing.
Have a wonderful day!

Keep Molokai, Molokai!

time goes by so slow on Molokai. it’s one of the few places in the world that “road rage” doesn’t exist. you would look like a fool yelling at birds and deer right?

the most secluded beaches in the world. you can pull up and won’t see anybody all day long.

and one of the few places in the world you won’t see kids on cell phones. all they have is the ocean, and each other. this is were watermen are born.

from the lanai from Tony’s house. beach in front, mountain in back. fish in front, deer in back. simply living off the land and sea.

rush hour back to town. you can drive for miles and miles and not see a single car.

breathtaking views.

colorful flowers.

and the golden sunsets.

Keep Molokai, Molokai!

4 Islands 1 Day

always good to see what’s on the menu at Niwa in Tokyo. yes, my mouth is watering…

omg, thank you Nao-san for making my day full of saliva dripping down my mouth. haha.

we’ve been having the weirdest weather recently. i woke up and my house was glowing red from all windows. i looked outside and couldn’t believe how beautiful the sky was at 6:30am. i love it!

when i take a few days off, i like to do something totally opposite of what i do in Honolulu. instead of the fast life, i take a flight into the slow life.

i want to reach over the pilots head and drive this thing!!!

gazing out of the window, i’m still stunned by the beauty of Hawaii.

this is not Google Maps, this is my view from my own eyes! look at Hanauma Bay and Sandy Beach. breathtaking.

i could see 4 islands all at once. Molokai, Maui, Lanai, and Kahoolawe! i told the pilot to drop me off at my future home.

flying over what is usually brown and dry, now it’s green and beautiful thanks to the past 2 hurricanes. i’ve never seen Molokai this green ever before!

landed at rush hour and the only traffic were the deers crossing the road. this is the slow life that teaches me how to control my fast life. without it, i’d have some serious stress. so welcome to my medicine. so pure, and so simple…
