had the most amazing evening session yesterday with Miku-san. very young girl with lots of dreams ahead. one of them is surfing!
the waves were super good and so were the smiles.

went to the Greenroom Festival last night and almost walked into a yoga class. namaste!
sat down and listened to Yuzo Kayama sing Kimi To Itsumademo . this guy is freaking so cool! i hope to be like him when i’m 80 years old too.
woke up early this morning and surfed with Shunsuke-kun. after all these days of Boot Camp, today was the day to shine! i taught this kid how to put the board on the rail and do power off the lips.
look at this beautiful line he’s taking! so perfect!
then rode along the side coaching him.
i can’t believe how good this kid got in such a short time! amazing surfing Shunsuke-kun! i have so much confidence in you and all your dreams…
then took the amazing Tanaka-san family surfing this afternoon. we had such a great time! photos coming soon…

yesterday has to have been one of the most beautiful days in a while. warm and good waves for everyone! look at Fujiki-san’s beautiful surfing!!!

Light winds so very nice morning conditions.
