Dolphin Soccer

last time i went swimming with the wild dolphins, i seen something pretty cool. they had this white fish skin they were playing with. one would have it on their side fin, then they would chase each other and try to knock it off. then another dolphin would come from behind and catch the fish skin with their fin. they would go in circles around me and keep on doing it. it was so fun to watch Dolphin soccer. so cool to see nature at its best…

Talk of the Town

love talking little kids out into the open ocean. just to see them enjoying it at such a young age reminds me of my first time too. yes, i was right around this age when my Step-Father took me on his boat from Oahu to Kauai. i was totally seasick the whole time in the front cabin. it was a long nightmare, but that experience made me a stronger kid.

maybe someday this kid will be a waterman. and i’m sure he’ll never forget this ride. experiences like this last in a persons mind forever.

Father and son. a beautiful moment…

such a cool place to feel so free in the ocean. so happy to see Takahashi-san’s wonderful family enjoying this beautiful day!

every person i talked too about Mao-san was totally impressed. from locals on Molokai, to watermen on Oahu, Mao-san was the talk of the town. it makes me proud to be Japanese!

from the start, to this finish line, there was no taking a break. where in the world does this girl get all this energy from?

ever since i started foiling, my main goal was to be able to ride the biggest wave possible. but after watching the guys foil past me in the channel, now i wouldn’t mind doing the same thing. so next time i go to Molokai, i’m taking my foil! can’t wait…
