Banana Duck Boat

after that Duck Boat sank and killed 17 tourists in Missouri, i don’t know why the government doesn’t ban those tours immediately. are they waiting for another tragedy?

yesterday, i saw tourists with lots of kids on this one. it really makes me wonder…

this isn’t a Duck boat, this is actually my friend Tim’s boat in Nias. his boat went over the falls on the biggest Indonesia swell of the year. i get nervous just looking at this photo.

it was very interesting anchoring Mayuki on this beautiful beach during the night before the race. on any other given day, there is absolutely no boats here. it was a beautiful place to sleep for me, and i’ll be back there for sure.

from the boat, it took 100 steps to this beautiful condo. yes, another dream that just entered my mind…

i’m still learning things about Molokai and i ain’t done yet.

someday i’ll be taking a nap on my king size bed looking out at Mayuki anchored peacefully offshore. something like this photo…

and if i can see it, i believe it.

want to thank Saori-san for this amazing Japanese sunset? wow!

and want to say hello to Mori-san holding his bananas. i’ve never seen a huge bunch like that before! can’t wait to go back to Taiwan to eat like monkeys! see you soon!

August 2, 2018 Hawaii Surf Report

Private snorkeling in Waikiki!

Good morning 5:40am.

Strong trade winds at 30mph.
Sun, clouds, showers, and huge rainbows.
Going surfing or foiling.
Have a wonderful day!

Hot and Spicy Day!

Takahashi-san’s hasn’t been surfing for 6 months. so this morning surfing Bowls rights must have been super fun for him. a new swell and a new beginning…

i finally can surf, dive, and foil without being so confused. i love all of it!

Takahashi-san caught some really nice ones today. slowly but surely his perfect form was returning.

new South swell! look how beautiful and empty the lineup was today. only a few locals out so plenty of waves for us.

the perfect bottom turn!

then went to eat some hot and spicy seafood soup.

gosh, i love this! so many wonderful flavors and spices making my taste buds so happy.

then went to get my favorite turtle bread! the best in Honolulu.

then went to pick up the family and headed out for a boating adventure. Taizan-kun (5) and Momoho-chan (9) so cute! thank you guys and girls for the wonderful day!

this is how you supposed to enjoy Hawaii to the fullest. pull up to the deep emerald water way outside Waikiki and swim like dolphins. it was only us and the beautiful sea.

good to see my 2 nephews making headlines on the WSL site. “could this be Seth’s Moniz’s year? i think the writer is making a mistake. i think this could be Joshua Moniz’s year too.” both are just a good contest result away from their dream of making the WCT tour come true. good luck in Hunnington tomorrow boys!
