Ocean Surf to Mountain Party

went foiling this morning with Nakahodo-san and the waves were super perfect. and of course, nobody out at my secret spot.

and this is the only photo you will see. maybe this is why it’s still a secret? the people i take there know very well not to post anything because this spot is sacred. you need a boat to get there so it’s not the easiest spot to go to anyway. day 3 for Nakahodo-san and he did great!

then went surfing this afternoon with Koike-san at Rockpiles. this spot isn’t secret so check out these amazing photos. i looked at every spot on the South Shore on this afternoon high tide and this was the best. look at Koike-san’s epic wave!

landing in Hawaii this morning, then surfing this afternoon. this is how to maximize your Hawaiian vacation.

Koike-san hasn’t surfed for a while so it took a few waves to get back in the groove. and once he did, everything was back to normal again.

there were so many waves that i had to catch a few too.

you never know what you’ll see in the ocean. man, stereo, and dog surfing on a longboard.

thank you Koike-san for the amazing session.

my friend Kekoa invited me for a BBQ at his new house. this was cooking in his oven for 8 hours. there was no way i would miss this party.

i had no idea Kekoa moved. so when i pulled up to his new house and seen this amazing view from his parking stall, i couldn’t believe it.

friends, family, stories, food, beer, and good times. this was our amazing BBQ tonight. i’m so full, so tired, and so sleepy. tomorrow got another full day so better get to sleep. goodnight from Hawaii…

島人ぬ宝 Okinawa Shimanchu Nu Takara by Begin

went to Chinatown with the Nakahodo-san family. super cool and happy family from Okinawa. look at Ken-kun trying to open his lollipop he got from the Chinese restaurant. haha.

went to look at Open Houses. if i had $680,000 right now, i’d buy this beautiful condo. this is only the lanai. the rest of the condo was amazing.

had a great time playing with Ken-kun. this 2 year old kid has the most adorable smile.

moved on to more condos. this one not bad at $890,000.

then moved on to some houses. this on was really cheap. only $8.6 million. haha.

having more kid time because hangout out with kids makes me feel like a kid.

yes, it’s everybody’s dream to live in Hawaii. including mine.

i can’t believe Nakahodo-san got up like this on his 2nd day. we’re going again tomorrow so i’m sure it’s only going to get better.

and i heard Toda-san’s getting better too. this is full control…

yesterday, i spotted out these slippers made in Okinawa and it reminded me of all the great times i had on that beautiful island. i put together a video back in 2009 of one of the many memorable trips. want to say Haisai to all my friends. make sure you watch the end of this video because this is what happens after a few Orion beers and a few more glasses of Awamori. haha…
