i drove around the island today and everything was going great, until i ran out of gas. haha. had to hitchhike a ride to and from the gas station. it was pretty embarrassing.

i’m so lucky i bought the waterproof iPhone 7. twice already, salt water covered the whole phone. and it is still working perfectly. if it was my iPhone 6, it would be dead.

i have a few days off next week so i spent some time checking out the world surf forecasts. check out the philippines! omg, it’s going to be crazy big! 34-48′!!! i might be a little too late for that swell. bummer! talked to my friend there and he said better come next time.

so now i’m looking elsewhere probably in south/east asia. any good ideas? i want to go somewhere i haven’t been before.

had an amazing time with a wonderful couple from sendai. we surfed and surfed, ate and ate, and shopped and shopped. a perfect day in paradise!

went to check out diamond head this afternoon and it looked so fun! only a few guys out surfing the head high waves.

i went to do a pick up and drop off at the brand new Ritz Carlton in waikiki. i had no idea how my first experience would be. it turned out to be amazing! super professional staff greeting every customer that comes in. offering free water and lots of aloha. totally opposite from my past experiences at the Trump Tower. pulling in there, five staff standing, not even moving to open my customers door, no water, and no aloha. i’m glad to have my awesome Ritz experience today. five stars!

after all the crazy things going on in this world, i decided to go deeper and explore the outer islands. and even after living here my whole life, i still can’t believe my eyes.

and after seeing the waterfalls, i want to get closer and feel the power. i don’t care about sharks, i don’t care about falling rocks, and i don’t care about anything. i’m living in a free mind and i want to be free.

omg, heard that russia and america are getting into deeper conflicts. and with russia telling their citizens that are in america to come home, that’s scary.

if a nuclear war happens, this would be the safest place in the world. this was 3 days ago in the deep blue. and if i could hold my breath forever, i would still be down there. that’s my most peaceful place in the world!
