yesterday afternoon was amazing! just us friends spending a good time in the beautiful ocean. Toda-san launched his drone and got some amazing photos like this!

Reid getting some action right at sunset. he was so happy after this that the beer was going down way to fast. haha.

then we got out the pupus and drinks and celebrated the end to another amazing day. then all of a sudden, Maki-san tells me “omg, we have to go in because i have to go to work.” i was thinking “what, it’s star gazing time? but oh well, work is work so i totally understand.” we pulled the anchor and headed in.

then as i was washing Mayuki, the girls came out with a birthday cake. omg, i’m still getting super surprised! i had no idea!!! yes, i was very surprised, and very happy at the same time! and also still getting tricked too. haha.

i guess i’m getting old, but never too old to spend happy times like this!

want to thank my friends from the bottom of my heart. thank you Toda-san, Takami-san, Maki-chan, Yuko-chan, Maki-san, Carter, and Reid. always love you guys! looking forward to another amazing year with all you guys in my life!

woke up today feeling so young! and the waves were super good! Kanda-san surfing the best waves of his life.

then eating the best locomoco on the island with Kanda-san and Megumi-san!

ate this, then ate shave ice, then drank kava, then worked all day till now! goodnight at 8:45pm.

yes, yesterday was a picture perfect day! check out Murakami-san! surfing good waves, laughing, and experiencing mother nature.

still can’t believe the monk seal hunting yesterday in the lineup. it was amazing! when it came up, it scared this surfer girl. haha.

looking into the eye of a monk seal is like looking into the eye of your friend. it seems so real. seems like it’s trying to say something to me.

Maki-chan knows this couple very well so she joined us for a pho lunch. just keep on expanding the beautiful surfing world!

then loaded up Mayuki with my friends in the afternoon. we went for a surf, fish, rainbows, sunset, stars, pupus, and lots of fun.

came in at night, had more food and laughs. got home pretty late but slept with a very happy face. another day, another memory.
