this morning was so fun! surfed with Hikaru-san and watched her get some great waves.

no more babying her anymore. i told her “you can do it by yourself. just try and never give up.” she ended up surfing on her own. huge progress from last time.

and once you get the confidence of catching waves on your own, everything else in life will be easier. just go with the flow. great job Hikaru-san!

took time this afternoon to take care of Mayuki. haven’t seen my baby in a very long time. don’t like seeing her dirty so i gave her a good clean up.

taking care of a yacht like this is endless. although it was my childhood dream of owning one of these, i no longer crave that anymore. no thank you, i’ll just rent one when i need one. haha.

but gosh, she was a beauty! i couldn’t stop staring and staring.

when the girls call me to take them surfing, i drop everything and take them surfing. that will never change.

after spending a couple of hours on Mayuki, she looked like the beauty she always is. perfect!

hawaiian surfer/photographer Keoki Saguibo was surfing in Nias, Indonesia. after a wipeout, the was found face down unconscious in the water. they had to transport him to singapore where he is getting treated. having no insurance, the medical bills will surely be very expensive. they set up a GoFundMe account to help him out. just in 3 days, he’s gotten over 600 donations raising over $67,000. so cool to see so many surfers backing up a surfer. we all know it can happen to any of us at any time. all we can do is wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in the ocean soon.

Jack House

yesterday, a friend asked me if i wanted to buy their old suzuki jeep samurai. a car i always wanted to get. i told him, “not now. i already have a new toy. ask me again in 6 months.” haha. as for now, i’m a very happy kid with the buggy!

check out this beautiful photo i took! empty lineup with awesome swells. nature is so amazing.

this guy built this little trailer house. i think it’s the perfect kind of house i would want. you can take it anywhere.

look how cool it is inside!

and the bed too. if i had this, i would travel all around japan with it. just park it right in front of the beach. it would be an amazing road trip.

the Jack-san collection at Kimura-san’s house. the older jack bottles taste much more better than the new ones. smooth till the last drop.

a police officer pulled up to this car with mother and father overdosed on heroin. then the kid in the back seat just totally confused. i hope he grows up to be ok. as for mother and father, i hope they look at this photo really good, wake up, and be more responsible. such a sad photo circulating around america now.
