i had a great time surfing with Tonoo-san today. his many trips to hawaii but his first time ever surfing. i was so stoked to see him ride some nice waves. and i couldn’t believe he caught about 25 waves. i bet he’s sleeping pretty dam good tonight.

thank you Tonoo-san for the wonderful session. i’m so happy you tried surfing for the first time. and by the smile of your face, i’m sure it won’t be your last time.

a few days ago, i was invited to eat dinner at Genki Sushi. it wasn’t the first time and my answer is always “thank you, but no thank you.” the reason i would never go to Genki Sushi is because i’ve been eating the best sushi in the world. yes, japan is the best! this is one of my favorite places and my mouth is watering by just looking at this photo. i can’t wait to go back there again!

speaking of Genki Sushi. the Hawaii State Department of Health just found out that the Hepatitis A outbreak came from the scallops at Genki Sushi. omg, 168 people and counting are now infected in the worst hepatitis outbreak in over 20 years! thank goodness i didn’t go there. and yes, the State Department ordered all 10 Genki restaurants to close today! if you’ve eaten here in the past few months, please go get tested.

and last, the UFC 202 is happening this weekend. August 21 @ 10am Japan time. can somebody PLEASE tell me where i can watch it in japan??? i don’t want to miss it because it’s the most exciting fight in a very long time! PLEASE!

i’ve been moving around so much that no matter what i eat, i lose weight. so i headed down to my favorite prime rib shop and ate every single drop of this fat piece of meat.

also had a big lunch with Rie-san. mushroom chicken makes me happy!

my little cute nephew enjoying life. so pure and so precious. just seeing Mateus smile makes me smile.
