so many different applications for iphone are coming out. been using them for places to stay, and for getting around. take Uber for example. it was the first time i used it in new york. click on pick me up and a private car with driver will come and get you within minutes. got a ride to the airport for $60 and would have cost me more if i caught a taxi. then right after i get dropped off, i get sent the bill and receipt. pretty cool! i’ll use it again for sure.
omg, i was so happy to get off the airplane yesterday in hawaii. it always feels good to be back home but the feeling gets better and better with each trip.
i was glad to see my yamaha still in the same place i parked it. the bummer thing is i lost my sunglasses in el salvador so i rode on the freeway home with no eye protection. that hurted.
when i got home, the first thing i wanted to eat was hot cooked japanese rice. omg, it was so good!
the second thing was miso soup. gosh, i really think i’m japanese.
then watched the finals of the contest in australia. hawaiian surfer carissa moore won and i was surprised to see kelia carrying her up the beach. hawaiians supporting hawaiians. i love it!
well, back to life, back to reality. start work today and will be working almost everyday. but guess what? i’m looking forward to it! i love my job and love it even more after a long satisfying vacation. see you here in paradise!

if you ever want to see the most beautiful sunsets and green flashes, go to El Salvador.
typical lifestyle. no need gas.
i met Charlie down at the beach. this 17 year old kid became our driver and guide. when he was driving us down to the beach, i asked him “how old do you have to be to drive in el salvador?” he said “18 years old.” huh???
this 15 year old kids friends nicknamed him “uma” or horse. why? they said because he looks like a horse. such a cool kid and a great surfer! this kid was our videographer.
Satoko is an amazing person. so amazing that i can write a book on this girls life. very very interesting!
lunch with the boys down at the pier. miss these guys already.
and yes, miss these sunsets too. the amazing green flashes continue!
the weekdays are slow, but when friday comes along, it starts to get alive. partying on the beach!
my 3 amigos. this japan team from cancun is so amazing. we had such a great time together and i was glad to meet them in el salvador. cheers amigos! until we meet again.
hopefully getting a flight out today. stuck last night, but looking promising today. what ever happens happens. meet some wonderful people on this trip. had some wonderful experiences too. have about a thousand photos on my computer. having the worst time trying to get wifi for some reason. can’t wait to get home, sit down, look at all the photos, and reminisce all the great moments in this wonderful trip. and yes, i can’t wait to jump back into the blue ocean! heard it’s been super cold in hawaii but people in hawaii don’t know what cold is. new york was freaking cold! see you all very soon!
