had a really great time with the Deguchi-san family. everybody so active and so happy.

Deguchi-san hasn’t touched the ocean for more than 20 years. so for her to stand up on her first wave was amazing! not even her kids stood up on their first waves. but after watching Mom do it so easily, they all got so competitive. it was so funny.

Mike-san got the hang of it and kept on riding wave after wave.

after every session, i always get a “best shot.” here is it from this day. a woman who hasn’t been in the ocean for a long time. a woman who hasn’t surfed before. a woman caught this big wave and rode it like a pro! a real super mom!
