this morning seemed so long ago. in fact, it’s almost next morning and i’m still awake working now. surfed perfect glassy bowls and rode some long nice waves. then pulled anchor and seen the biggest pod of dolphins in my life. wild dolphins!
so we went to swim with them, play with them, and shoot photos of them. got some amazing images and can’t wait to download them.
then picked up Team Ishigaki right from their steps of their hotel. Kara-san, Miwa-san, Yuuta-san, and Nanako-san. all surfers, all islanders, and all big hearts.
girls who surf. gosh, we had such a great evening session! the waves were super nice and clean, long rides, and very happy faces. good riding girls!
then we went to watch the sunset. it was freaking amazing! a green flash moment!
new friends, old friends, and good friends. all surfers who love to enjoy each moment.
i can’t believe i was out from early morning to late evening again. it was so beautiful today!
then we jumped into the cars to eat at sweet home cafe. the best taiwan nabe in hawaii.
after a long day, i really needed some power. and i got it!
Nanako-san with the special free dessert. i can’t believe how much this girl can eat. haha.
it’s midnight and the latest i’ve been up in a very long time. my eyes are closing and tomorrow is going to be another long day in the ocean. gosh, i can’t believe how busy i’ve been working and playing with my friends. took about a thousand photos that will have to be downloaded later because one eye is already closed. see you early morning tomorrow. goodnight.
Stoked on Aloha!
had an awesome time with Takahashi-san and the boys. just super kind and cool people from japan. stoked on hawaii, stoked on surfing, and stoked on aloha.
Kouta-kun did awesome. great balance and great control.
Keito-kun did awesome too. he never gave up and kept on paddling till he couldn’t paddle any more.
Takahashi-san is another person i met that knows me better than i know myself. he even knows my friends better than i know myself. most of the things i write on my blog seems like 20 years ago. time just flying by but i’m glad people are still interested in my crazy lifestyle. thank goodness for my blog or else i’d forget my whole life. haha.
and once a surfer, always a surfer. great surfing Takahashi-san.
surf, then sightsee right after this.
but before that, we had to talk on the beach about our crazy surf session. it was very challenging and very fun!
thanks boys for this beautiful windy day. look at the coconut trees in the back bending from the strong west winds. abunai! keep on surfing!
