Dirtbike Hawaii

i’ve never been into motocross. i guess i am more of the ocean person. but ever since i started exploring deep into hawaii, i’ve been very curious of places i’ve never been before. and those places are only accessed by a dirt bike. so getting my new Yamaha 250 is a huge step for me. a huge step closer to the deepest part of this beautiful island i have yet to explore.

i use to come to this magical place when i was in junior high school. we use to jump off the rocks, fish, dive, and just play around like normal kids did. we would walk in the hot sun for a long time getting to this place. but now, it takes me 2 minutes. haha.

there are little surf spots tucked away on this coastline. only the locals come, and only the locals know where. it was so funny because i seen one of my high school friends surfing out there this day. the only one surfer in the whole ocean surrounding this area. he must have been in paradise! i watched him catch a few waves and rode off.

now i’m trying to find a way how to put surf racks on this bike. i bought a rain jacket, i bought boots, and now i’m ready to go up mountains, down mountains, over waterfalls, and into rainbows. a very amazing feeling to be so free in places where you won’t find a soul for miles and miles. i just hope i don’t ever run out of gas. haha.

so many japanese people ask me “how much does it cost to buy a house in hawaii?” well, if you asked me 5 years ago, i’d say the median price was $500,000. if you ask me today, the median price is $719,500. prices are going up and up every year and if you want a decent house now days, expect to pay $1M. that’s ¥118810000 JPY. and if you take a loan on that amount, expect to pay $7,500/month. now ask me again 5 years later and i’ll tell you it’s impossible to buy a house here in hawaii. so if you want to buy, buy now before it’s too late.
