Philippines Tricycle 2003. Photo by Me.
Good morning 6:30am.
North shore 1′ now but coming up later this morning to the 3-5′ range. Tomorrow 4-8′ for the next 5 days and perfect conditions. Yeah! South shore super small today.
Knee high at Ala Moana and chest high at Diamond Head.
No wind so perfect conditions again.
Super sunny sky.
Going surfing!
Have a wonderful day!

i took this wonderful couple to the beach this morning. Yuki-san and Ayaka-san just got married yesterday. it’s their first time to hawaii, it’s their first time leaving japan, and it’s their first time riding an airplane. congratulations on your happy hawaiian wedding!

Yuki-san surfed really good! i took him to bowls and introduced him to the cool locals out there. super friendly and super fun session. it was also their first time eating mexican food. they come from nara and i’m not too sure if there is even a mexican restaurant there. is there? anyway, wanted to say hello to Yoshioka-san from Next Surf Shop and all the nara surfers!

today was just another beautiful day! you can see molokai pretty clearly and i’m still dreaming of the day i paddle across one of the most dangerous channels in the world!

i was helping my uncle clean his house and look what i came across. an old vintage fire extinguisher! this has to be from the 1930’s or something. i’m going to have this refurbished!

i was so stoked to find a part of history!

also found some hawaii license plates from 1952! i bet these are worth a lot but it’s not for sale.
surfed 2 wonderful rounds again today. the waves absolutely perfect for us. tomorrow same thing! going to take a cold shower to cool down and sleep like a baby. goodnight.
