the waves have been small and the winds been strong. for days like this, it’s always better to take out a bigger and heavier board. why? because the bigger board will help you paddle into the wave faster, and the heavier board will prevent it from flying back and hitting you in the head. and you will also get a smoother and more stable ride. then surfing becomes fun again! here is Inaida-san feeling very comfortable yesterday on a very stable board.

Yuki-san is very light so if she rides a light board on windy days, the wind will pick her up and she will fly like she did the other day. haha. easy surfing. nice wave!

Katsura-san got better super fast. she use to be scared of surfing but now loves it. always smiling, always happy, and always the fastest paddler in the ocean. good strength and good balance.

peace! have a safe flight home Katsura-san! oh, and speaking of Katsura-san, she’s not just a great surfer, she happens to be the best sports trainer/stretcher in the world. she can make you feel 20 years younger in 10 minutes. i’ve been getting worked on by Katsura-san and i feel like a little cherry boy now. my body feels so loose, so flexible, so strong, and so young.

but you have to endure extreme pain!!! her hands are powerful, she hits all the right spots, hurts so bad, and hurts so good. i always have to be held down because i can’t bear the pain. but when it’s all over, it’s all good! Inaida-san is a very lucky man to have Katsura-san on his team and now i know why his body is in such great shape! surf good waves, get good massage, eat good food, get good sleep. that’s a really healthy and amazing lifestyle!

Songkran Festival in Thailand

we’ve been having so much fun surfing with these windy and challenging conditions. today might have been windy, but the waves were small and perfect for us. always love to be in the ocean!

got home and got an email from Matsu’s Songkran Festival in Thailand yesterday. it’s the annual water festival and i hope to experience it someday. looks like so much fun! thank you Matsu for the photos!

been super busy setting up things for my upcoming trip. it’s kind of a once in a life chance for me and i don’t want to miss a moment. it’s almost 12 midnight and i’ve been up from early morning. super tired and going to get up early tomorrow morning to test out some equipment. hope everything goes well. good night
