Get Ready to Troll!!!! Get Ready to get Bored!!!!

photo 1
ok, remember the 2 gold penn reels the guy gave me when he bought my boat? well, i just bought some nice poles and am ready to get it wet. it looks so good that i’d rather keep it in my house and just look at it. this is over $2,000 worth of fishing equipment and i’m hoping it will catch me $10,000 worth of fish. the Ahi’s will be biting this summer so i better go out and practice catching ono’s and mahimahi’s first. the next chance i have, i’m taking!

opened up an old container of lures my brother had. hawaiian style fishing lures. i took one to the mentawai’s before and caught a 150lbs sailfish. looks so good and works even better.
photo 3
if i seen this flying around in the water, i’d probably eat it too. but hey, i’m very impatient when it comes to fishing. i turn down every trolling trip my friends invite me too. do don’t laugh if i end up selling this fishing gear in the next week. haha.

Good morning 6am.

Light onshore later today, strong trade winds and rain this weekend. Little cloudy in the morning becoming super sunny.
Going surfing.
Have a super wonderful day!

Dolphins and Lobsters

wow, today was a beautiful day! super sunny and super calm in the morning. i had to put Mayuki back in the water so as i was sweating in the hot sun, Brent and Kekoa called me up. they were down at the harbor getting ready to dive and invited me. instead, i invited them and we went diving.
photo 3
super cool guys. i went on a boat trip with Kekoa to timor and palau. and i went on a trip with Brent to palau. so we know each other pretty well. i guess you can say we are travel/dive partners.

on the way out, we seen some dolphins! so cool! they came to play on the side of Mayuki and it was just pure amazing just watching them swim in their world. this photo looks photoshopped but it’s not. amazing yeah!
photo 4
Brent and Kekoa caught slipper lobsters and a tako. excellent catch! we came in at 11am, i had to drop off the huge trailer in kailua, backing it up into a little stall was fun, then back to town to work!

i just made it in time to pick up Sugita-san. i met Sugita-san last year at the TSSC contest in shikoku. a super cool guy and a good surfer. i was stoked to see him riding so many long waves. and yes, the waves this afternoon were really good! freak head high sets and empty! thank you Sugita-san for the wonderful afternoon session!
tomorrow will be another busy day and i’m looking forward to waking up already! good night.
