yes, yes, yes!!! another awesome day in my life. woke up at 4:30am and had one of the most rewarding days in my life!

picked up Nanami-san and watched her get from good to great. just the 4th time surfing with me, she’s catching her own waves, turning, and surfing really good! i’m pretty sure she’s hooked on surfing and will be dreaming of it from the mountains in colorado. i am truly amazed on how good she got so fast.

been spending some time on the east side these past few days so been trying new restaurants out there. just pulled by this local food restaurant and found some amazing hawaiian food!

i love hawaiian food and every time i eat it, i feel the aloha!

passed by sandy beach and still am amazed on how beautiful this place is.

went to patagonia today and took my ripped shorts. they took my information and told me, “it will be repaired and sent to your house free of charge.” really? i’ll let you know when i get it back. but if they do fix it, i’m impressed with this company that stands by their product. how can you lose if a company guarantees their product for life???
well, something amazing happened to me this afternoon. 25 years ago i was a kid that had one of the biggest dreams in life. i use to tell people about it and nobody would believe me. this one i even doubted myself because it was just too big of a dream. but you know what? i never gave up my dream. just one step closer and in a few months, you might just see the luckiest person in this world. i’m not going to be able to sleep for the next 2 months! somebody slap my face and wake me up! wait, don’t! good night and i’ll be up at 1am in bed thinking about it. haha.

did you hear the news about the dolphin that saved the dog? the dog was drowning in the river and a dolphin came to save him. amazing!

i was out at kaneohe bay and seen this man that just bought a new motor for his dingy. his sailboat was super far away out at sea but paddled this little dingy by hand all the way to shore, put on his new motor, and went back to his sailboat. cool!

i went to shoot some photos at diamond head earlier this summer. why? because i wanted to show everybody where to park, and where not to park. if you ever go there, park on the ocean side of the street. why? because it’s safer. safer from what? safer from somebody breaking in or stealing your car.

this is the mountain side and a lot of cars get broken into to, or even stolen. why? because the bad people hide in the bushes, steal from your car, and hide in the bushes. a couple of my friends whole cars were stolen too from this side of the street. don’t say i didn’t warn you.

and there is a local way to going down the mountain. a little dangerous and a little steep. but for me, i always use this way because it’s faster. the faster i get into the water, the faster i get a wave. simple surfer thinking!
