been having the most wonderful breakfast this past week. want to thank Inaida-san and Yuki-san for the delicious natto and mentaiko from japan!

typhoon usagi is heading straight for taiwan. gosh, i wish i could have gone there!!! i don’t regret things in life, but i might regret not going for this super typhoon. the biggest of one of the year and i’m sure Keith and the boys down there will be getting barreled out of their minds! thanks Keith for the photo and update.

as typhoon usagi heads to taiwan, there is a new typhoon forming right now. this one is going to have the ultimate dream course for great waves in japan all week long. as for now, i’m predicting solid 8′ barrels for some of my favorite river mouths on september 25th and 26th. OMG! i work in hawaii during those dates!!!! i’m just hoping this typhoon slows down because i’m scheduled to go to japan on the 27th. this is going to be a stressful week watching this typhoon as i’ll be checking it 20x a day and talking to it. “SLOW DOWN!!!”
how do i relieve stress? go surf or go dive. that’s what i’ll be doing every day from now. have a wonderful day!
