OMG! today was another beautiful day. i was wondering why the sky was so blue? then when 3 people told me the same thing today, i knew it was much more blue than normal. surfed 2x and the waves couldn’t have been any better! perfect waves, long rides, happy faces, and good surfing.

this afternoon a baby turtle came to say hello. so happy i had my camera in my pocket! hello Yuki-san!

last night at the best yakiniku restaurant in hawaii. it just opened 2 months ago and i’ll be back again. the yuke or raw beef was the best!

then tonight more meat for us hungry surfers. chanko nabe at Imanas tei.

we surf, we eat, we laugh, and we have fun. welcome back to hawaii Inaida-san and Yuki-san! a great lifestyle!

wake up early, sleep early, dream big, and do it all again tomorrow. goodnight from hawaii!

Keep on surfing!
Make no Mistake!
i was at the store looking at the new surfing magazine. i was super surprised to see a 2 page spread of Joshua Moniz! i’m pretty sure this was taken at big rights this summer. this boy is shining!

the only bummer thing was surfing magazine made a mistake. the caption read Seth Moniz? yeah, Josh and Seth are brothers, but they have different styles, and different sponsors. i just don’t understand how the number one publication could make such a mistake. if it was the first time, i’d be ok with it. but this isn’t. hey surfing magazine, please get the boys right. this is a great photo but i don’t think either of the brothers are too happy about the mistake. they both want to prove themselves as individuals in the surfing industry so next time you’re in doubt, just ask any hawaiian and they will know who is who.

then i walk into HIC pearl ridge and see my family everywhere. Kelia Moniz and Josh Moniz side by side. both making their name in the surfing industry.

then another huge poster of Josh for Billabong. the most powerful youngest surfer in the world. and also the 2013 jr. world champion!

i was babysitting the kids the other night. i let them go for it in the kitchen all night long. then when they went to sleep, i went to check what they were doing earlier in the kitchen. isn’t this so cool? artists in the making.

stoked to have Team Inaida-san back in hawaii. everybody’s surfing better than ever!
