Still BIG South swell.
Ala Moana Park: 2-3′ with 4′ sets.
Bowls: 2-4′ with maybe 5′ sets later at high tide.
Diamond Head: 5′ and windy.
Waikiki: 3′ and Queen’s looking super fun.
Wind: Tradewind @ 15-25mph.
Weather: Super sunny day.
Plan: Surf 2 rounds big waves!

another rare spotting at the beach this morning. this hawaiian monk seal was huge! but when toda-san walked passed by it, it all of sudden looked small. haha. hey toda-san, glad you lost weight. hope your surgery in japan will be successful. and takami-san, please let him eat a lot of food. when toda-san eats food, he’s happy. when he cannot, he’s not happy. have a safe flight back to japan. thanks for everything!

during my session this morning, one of my fins broke off! omg! but i still surfed anyway with 2 fins. something different, and different is fun.

last night was amazing. the lights, the fireworks, the friends, and everything. where else would you want to be. i took 2 really amazing photos that i’m saving for something very special. have a great evening.
