M6: Countdown

i thought i’d be getting some relax time here but that isn’t the case. been super busy pretty much everyday. want to thank the Yamari family for the great time in wakayama, the TSSC family for the great time in shikoku, and now it’s time for M6.

i’m looking forward to our next mission. we are going up with 2 vans with 9 wonderful people. i’m looking forward to the grand opening to the “We Are One Market” in kitakami, and i’m looking forward to seeing out fishermen friends in kobochihama. it’s been a year and it’s such a great feeling to see improvements and to see people moving forward. i’m just lost for words now. still a lot of emotions in me. i get teary looking through the photos from M1 as it’s hard to comprehend what the heck happened on march 11, 2011. ahhhh…. better stop.
anyway, we leave friday and once our group gets together in shonan, we drive up north for the weekend. lots of photos and stories coming your way.
last, want to thank Mrs. Kurashige from Mid-Pac school in hawaii. i really appreciate your kind words regarding our missions. and wanted to say hello to the 6th and 8th grade kids. thank you for following me around japan. thank you for caring so much. it means a lot to me. i hope to make it back to your school to share more stories. enjoy your wonderful energetic lives, don’t take anything for granted, and appreciate everything you have. do your best to make a difference in this world! you kids are the future! sayonara from japan!
