like i said in my 2009, 2010, and 2011 new years resolutions, i told myself that i will take every opportunity to travel, explore, and have fun. that being said, another golden opportunity has come up. i was invited to a 2 week dream trip to one of the most beautiful places in the world, the Maldives. one week on a private resort island, and one week on a luxury yacht. first, i want to introduce you to Cocoa Resort. i’m planning to dive, surf, pick shells, watch sunsets, and surf! it’s just a few months away and the more i think of it, the more excited i get. i already have a maldives corner in my house. it’s a corner where i’m already starting to pack. i have my fishing pole, mask, fins, and shell bag. i’m looking for a good underwater housing for my canon 40d that i can take 100 meters or 300′ deep. does anybody have one i can borrow? dolphins, fish, whale sharks, sea horses, or even the colorful reef, i can’t wait to take photos! the last time i went to the maldives 7 years ago, it just got my first real camera so it was my first time as a traveling photographer. i shot film so i don’t have many photos, this time, i’m shooting thousands and thousands. stay tuned!
