good morning. haven’t the waves been great? not too big but perfect for everybody! i’m surfed out and totally sunburned. i’m staying in the shade today. well… maybe not….
**i pick up shin-san and midori-san from their hotel yesterday morning. they give me a cd. i stick it in and on it is all the great songs from the 1970’s. it brought back the “Free Ride” memories with songs like “Many Classic Moments.” we then pull into the ala wai parking lot and who do we see?

hey guys, if you haven’t heard of performance freediving, let me brief you on it. it’s a class taught by world record freedivers. most people that complete the course can freedive over 100′ or 33 meters, and hold their breath for over 3 minutes. if i were big company president of quiksilver, billabong, volcom, etc…, i would send ALL my riders to this program. if you can dive 100′ and hold your breath for over 3 minutes, a 30′ set at waimea bay should be a piece of cake. and if you can survive that, your confidence level would rise ten fold. and in the case if you get in trouble with an angry local, you’d be the wrong guy to pick on. haha…


the next class is february 19-22 in kona, hawaii. if i can take a few days off during that time, i’m going!!! the class is 4 days and can help save your life, or save others. yeah, it cost $695 but how much is your or your buddies life worth? hope i can make it….
