good morning. still small waves around the island but things will change this week. expecting a big north swell on tuesday afternoon with south winds. that means epic surf on the north shore. it’s been a while so i’m looking forward to it!!! gosh, the past week, i’ve been trying to put together a boat trip either for the mentawai’s or maldives. the dollar is so dam weak so the prices are super high now. hopefully i’ll find something affordable, charter the whole boat, and start gathering members for a 2011 dream boat trip. stay tuned…

when i was going to UH, i never missed one game. i was there fully supporting the team and the cheerleaders. haha… the stadium is so amazing! big, loud, and strong…. but a little rusty too…

the other day we had the high wind advisory up but i went for a 30 minute dive anyway. people think i’m crazy but i don’t think so. maybe smart? i go out 15 minutes from ala wai harbor, i drop on a spot on my GPS, i spear 6 fish, and i’m back in by lunch. quick and easy. it’s like going out to windy onshore diamond head and getting a great wave….

the eddie aikau quiksilver invitational is officially started. i hope the huge waves come again this year….
