good morning. 6:30 am. north shore 3-5′ and clean. town chest high and fun. waves for everybody!!! cloudy but so what? everybody GO-NAMINORI!!!! hey, just wanted to thank everybody for the cards and photos sent to me. i especially wanted to send a message out to a special surfer who is fighting cancer now. want to keep her name private but wanted to say “keep your head up, your going to get through this. i’ll always be thinking of you. keep thinking positive because that’s the best medicine in the world. see you back in the water soon!!!”
south winds all week making for epic north shore conditions. all the international pro surfers are gone so it’s local time!!! a lot more swells on the way. have a nice day and see you in the water….
**i have so many photos on my desktop so it’s time to get them off and onto our server. how do i do that? just by posting a blog. every blog i post saves onto our private go-naminori server. that way, it will never disappear. unlike other blogs, my photos will be with me forever. and i will have access to it anytime at a simple click…. thanks go-naminori!!

good evening. wow. so tired. went up early to the north shore and the waves were good. i didn’t have a great session but it felt good just to be in the water watching powerful 8′ waves break over people, on people, and break surfboards. i’m getting sunburned because i’ve been surfing so much so i’m finally returning to my normal color, which is black.

pulling up and checking the waves is exciting, especially after seeing the first barrels of the morning. this is backdoor/pipeline/off-the-wall….

check out these cool plants they sell at kansai airport. they live months and months with just a few drops of water. mine are still going healthy and strong..
