i had an interview for a FM radio show yesterday over the phone and i couldn’t believe how nervous i was. it’s kind of embarrassing. it was a topic about go-naminori and hawaii. i was so nervous i don’t even remember what i said. haha. i can talk talk and talk if your right in front of me but get really nervous over the phone. after the interview, they asked, me to come to the studio for more taping next time i’m in tokyo. i don’t think i can handle that. i’d be shaking and sweating. i better stick to surfing…

i’ve been getting a lot of comments about my wetsuits recently. i use it for diving a lot and people ask me where and how to get it. well, dove wetsuits is located in hiratsuka, japan. the suits are handmade of the best possible quality material. i go diving with my friends and some of their wetsuits gets bust up after only a few dives. mine lasts for years. i guess you can’t cut corners when it comes to quality….

the staff at THE BEACH hotel and ISLAND MESSAGE are amazing. so kind, so fun, and so cool!! takahashi-san is so lucky to have such great people around him…. i always feel so welcomed here!!!

this is the heavy corner of the table. if you sit here, you better be prepared to drink, talk, take shit, and have a great time. and if you can’t handle all that, you better not sit there. see those 2 bottles i’m holding? it’s $2,800/each so i’m holding a lot of money in my hand. takahashi-san always brings out the best!! i think he likes me? haha… can you believe that the bottle tipped over and spilled 2x? i drank my first one on the rocks and was feeling weird after. i was buzzing, i was awake, i was happy, but i couldn’t walk for some reason. my mind was awake but my legs just wouldn’t follow.. haha… kimura-san, tomoka, takahashi-san, jacksan, and kazubo-san. oh, we had a blast last night… tonight? same thing! this is okinawan style and i love it!!!
as for the waves, tomorrow is supposed to be “The Day.” we’re getting on a boat and going to surf some remote islands. it was exactly 1 year ago when i got hurt and i’m a little nervous. but i can’t live in the past, i’m living in this moment. and this moment is now!! have a great evening…
